Galvin adds Challenger to charter fleet, names Lynden Bechtel as Director of Charter Operations
Galvin Flying Services, Inc., has received operations specifications from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to begin operating aircraft with 10 or more seats. The Seattle District FAA office issued the certificate, which will enable Galvin to significantly increase charter operations.
The certificate was the first of its kind issued by the Seattle FAA office. It will allow Galvin to transport larger groups of passengers to more and further destinations.
Galvin has recently added a 10 passenger Challenger 604 jet with intercontinental range to its fleet of available charter aircraft. A Westwind II and a King Air B200 has also been added to the fleet. Galvin is actively seeking to acquire other large aircraft.
Galvin also recently appointed Lynden Bechtel to the position of Director of Charter Operations. He has over 19,000 hours of experience flying jet and turbo prop aircraft, helicopters, and he is also a certified A&P mechanic.
In his new position, Mr. Bechtel will oversee Galvin’s expanded charter operations.
